Circus/Berliner

We checked into the Circus Hostel today in Berlin after an overnight train from Paris. The train was fantastic. Europeans really know how to travel. Although, we didn't know how to work the bathroom, the bed or the table. We are having a serious case of americanoitis.

We saw a few things in Berlin today: the New National Gallery, the Reichstag, the Berlin Philharmonic and the Brandenburg gate.

We pretended to be young tonight and we were out until 1 drinking. We'll pay for it the morning...

While you might not have been able to figure out how the bathroom, bed, or table work, it is important that you at least knew the difference between the three. Trust me, tables do not make good bathrooms. Well, once. Ask Ronald McDonald on that one. A table can sometimes be a bed, but a bed should never be a bathroom (well maybe not NEVER, i see it as a 3 strike policy). A bathroom can be a table if you want, ben don't care. If you combine them it gets interesting. A bathroom bed could be useful, and a table bathroom sounds perplexing. I think bathroom table beds are for circus folk. Check your hostel for one. Travel safe, but with a certain air of recklessness about you.

Keep your eyes open for Brangelina. People.com tells me they have moved the family to Berlin.
